THE 22ND CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING FAIR – A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Choosing the right school and course can cause undue stress to both the heart and the pocket. That is why it is important to treat education as an investment. As with every business venture, thorough planning must be undertaken to ensure that you are making the right decisions every step of the way. This is where effective career counseling comes in. With the objective of helping young people explore their career options and choose potential colleges to attend, International Education Specialists of Makati (Inter-Ed) (email: intl_edu_specialists@pldtdsl.net; Text: 0928270-8527) has organized the 22nd Career Counseling and Guidance Fair. Set for September 16 to 17, 2010, this event gathers many local and international educational institutions under one roof to assist high school students in taking the right steps toward a fulfilling future.

Aside from the exhibits of the different colleges and universities, career mapping seminars, one-on-one counseling, and orientation on admission requirements will also be held simultaneously. Not only will the young participants be exposed to the options they have, these activities also guarantee that they have fun in the process. Leading the roster of educational institutions participating is Mapua Institute of Technology, the biggest engineering school in the Philippines. Also exhibiting are Emilio Aguinaldo College and Academy for International Culinary Arts, both offering some of the country’s best hotel and restaurant management and culinary courses. The Philippine School of Business Administration, a school that has continually produced CPA Board Exam top-notchers, will also be present. With all of these schools in one venue, students, as well as their parents and teachers, do not have to dread going to college. Planning a career does not have to be overwhelming with all these resources at their disposal.

Colleges and universities who would like to showcase their programs, or high schools who would like to bring their students to the exhibit should call 819-1001 and ask for Aileen.
