Award winning culinary master CHEF PHILIP GOLDING came over the Inter-Ed office last December 10 for an evening of CHEESE, CAKES & STEAKS. Culinary students, professionals and aficionados participated in the event to learn the art and science behind these wonderful gastronomic treats.
Aside from demonstration and the food tasting of the scrumptious items, the renowned chef also gave away tips as to where to buy and eat good steak, lessons he gained during his years of experience and travel, and a few jokes on food and the restaurant industry.
As the evening came to a close, Mr. Roger Bartholomew, Inter-Ed president, talked about Le Cordon Bleu (LCB) – the one of the world’s pioneers in providing the highest quality of instruction on culinary and hospitality programs.
To cap the night off, a trip to Thailand was awarded. The fortunate guest whose name was drawn was graduating student from Treston, Nikkie Estialbo. She will be touring the LCB campus in Thailand, and sitting in on a class of her choice.
