They offer over 1,200 nationally recognised vocational qualifications from Certificate I to Advanced Diploma level, as well as Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, Statements of Attainment and TAFE NSW statements. They also offer higher education qualifications at Degree level. A wide range of short courses offers professional development and career acceleration options.

TAFE NSW Institutes deliver courses flexibly using the latest online teaching technologies. You have the freedom to attend colleges at times that suit your needs, or you can study at work, home or any other location when it suits you.
The Open Training Education Network (OTEN) also provides world-class distance education services and products through a range of media.
Many TAFE NSW Institutes offer flexible study options for selected courses or units − either entirely as remote access using eLearning resources and web-based communication, or as a mix of classroom and online delivery. Flexible courses and units are offered across a wide range of vocational and industry areas.
Modes are listed in the course description for each course. Courses that offer learning and assessment in a variety of modes (on-campus, off-campus, distance learning, online learning, and combinations of these) will be marked ‘Flexible Attendance’ (FX).
