About Roosevelt University

Founded in 1945 in downtown Chicago, Roosevelt University is a national leader in educating socially conscious citizens for active and dedicated lives as leaders in their professions and their communities. Today, Roosevelt is the fourth most ethnically diverse college in the Midwest region of the United States and offers fully accredited programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. The student population includes 3,900 undergraduate and 2,700 graduate students. The International Study Center (ISC) offers pathway programs for leading undergraduate and graduate degree areas.

Facilities Available

A focal point of the downtown Chicago campus is the Wabash building, a new 32-story multipurpose Vertical Campus with high-tech classrooms and labs, offices and student housing on the top 17 floors offering breathtaking city and lakefront views.  Academics, culture, commerce and recreation converge in downtown Chicago. With 60+ universities and colleges, 200 art galleries, 200 theatres, 552 parks and miles of lakefront, beaches and bicycle paths, Chicago is a top destination for international students.

Courses on Offer

The ISC offers the International First Year (IFY) pathways in Business, Mathematics and Pre-Law for undergraduates and a Pre-Master’s Program (PMP) for graduate students interested in pursuing degrees in Business, Integrated Marketing Communications, or Public Administration. The 1 or 2 semester PMP program offers intensive English training and graduate study skills along with preparation for the GRE and GMAT tests. At the ISC you will be part of a supportive global community that provides customized English language and academic support for a seamless transition into degree success.

 Intake Dates

Roosevelt ISC offers intakes 3 times a year:

Fall – August
Spring – January
Summer – May

The ISC program lasts 1-4 semesters depending on your English language level and program of study.
