About Deakin

Deakin is Australia’s 9th largest university with over 42,000 students, of whom approximately a fifth are international students from over 100 countries. Deakin University is one of Australia’s leading universities with campuses located in Burwood (Melbourne), Geelong Waterfront, Waurn Ponds & Warrnambool.

The university has been known for attracting student seeking quality education, from different countries around the globe. Campuses

Student Life and Accommodation

In the latest Australian Government Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) national assessment Deakin received the top ranking of 5, defined as well above world standards, in:

  • Zoology

Deakin also received rankings of 4, defined as above world standards, in the Engineering and Medical and Health Sciences clusters, and in the specific fields of Analytical Chemistry, Fisheries Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering, Paediatrics and Reproductive Medicine, Pharmacology, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Commercial Services, and Curatorial Studies.

In addition, Two of Deakin University’s business programs, the MBA and Bachelor of Commerce have received an ultimate benchmark of international quality – accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development’s Programme (EFMD).
