Chef Fabrice Danniel, one of the World’s great Patissiers visits Dusit Thani Makati Hotel on July 31, 2013. Chef Fabrice who has worked in Michelin Star restaurants and top hotels around the world will be conducting Demonstrations for culinary students and Master Classes for professionals. Participants will also learn about Le Cordon Bleu’s global education programs and Professional Development courses available on-line, presented by Le Cordon Bleu.

Profile

Born in Antibes, South of France, Chef Fabrice Danniel began his career in 1985 after obtaining his “Certificat d’aptitude Professionnelle (CAP)”. He firstly honed his culinary skills in his homeland, where he worked as a Pastry Chef in many prestigious Michelin-star Parisian gastronomic restaurants, including Martinez Hotel in Cannes, Faugeron Restaurant, Lucas Carton Restaurant and Le Pavillon Elysée Lenôtre in Paris.

Chef Fabrice has since showcased his award-winning talents around the world, continuing his career firstly at “Freddy Giradet” in Switzerland. From the familiar comforts of Europe, he then had a three-year stint at a luxury Lebanese hotel with 3 restaurants, a pastry boutique and banquet facilities catering for up to 1000 persons.

In 1997, he went on to obtain a “Brevet de Maîtrise en Pâtisserie” (Master of Patisserie Diploma) in candy-making, chocolate work, ice-cream and catering, before moving to work at the Production Centre of Fine Pastries in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, extending his Middle Eastern connection at the Sheraton Doha Hotel & Resort in Qatar, where he was responsible for a 15-strong team.

Chef Fabrice Danniel returned to his Gallic roots in 2003 when he joined Le Cordon Bleu Paris, before becoming the Executive Master Chef at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit in Bangkok in 2007 where the venture has thrived under his watchful eyes ever since.
